Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the combat sports. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained confidence after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated in the 1st round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She won the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she ground-and-pound beat her to an TKO win in the second round. In her next fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd took the win in the first round and received the Performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's debut major fight. Both fighters fought one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, breaking the streak of winning. After a short break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
